Yesterday we rose early to see off Captain Pfetzer and Lieutenant Slindee and wish them well. Team Guardian is now in La Gomera, Canary Islands and will begin their row across the Atlantic Ocean on December 12. Their journey is to bring awareness to their non-profit organization Guardian Initiatives, which provides awareness, training, treatment, and resource sharing to local first responders as it relates to mental health and suicide awareness. Be sure to follow them on social media and their journey across the ocean!
