The tanks have been moved and US64

Has reopened in both directions.

Stay safe and warm!

Update: 3:44 pm

Crews have bled off the gas and are working on a plan to clear the tanks. US64 is still closed.

Update: 2:00pm

A set of tanks full of flammable gas fell off a semi-trailer, and has necessitated the full closure of US 64 at the light in Waterflow.

There is no fire at this time.

Crews are keeping the tanks cool and working with local crews to empty the tanks in a safe manner.

US64 will remain closed for the time being.

Crews are on scene of an incident that is blocking lanes of US 64 at Road 6800 (The stoplight to go to San Juan Generating Station)

Traffic is being diverted onto Road 6700 for now.

Please avoid the area if you can.
