Albuquerque High School standout Tavaun Smith’s college team lost in NAIA game on Saturday, January 20

On Saturday, January 20, former Albuquerque High School standout, Tavaun Smith’s current college team, the Northern New Mexico Eagles, lost 68-84 in their NAIA game against the Haskell Fighting Indians.

The game took place in Lawrence, Kansas. This was the third matchup against the Haskell Fighting Indians this season.

The Northern New Mexico Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, January 26 at 7 p.m. in Paragould, Arkansas.
