San Juan County Sheriff's Office issued the following announcement on April 14.
On April 2 we had our Girls on Guard class with our Girls with G.R.I.T. group to teach them self-defense. In addition to being aware of their surroundings, our hope is these ladies walked away with the knowledge and skills to help prevent them from being a victim of a violent crime. We would like to thank Weck's for donating breakfast for this class!
Yesterday the group met and learned all about Technology Crimes and Communicating Under Pressure. We would like to thank 550 Brewing & Pizza Parlor for their generosity and donating dinner for this class!
