Tonight we were able to give Walter Collins the actual award for his 30+ years of service to San Juan County! Walter was presented with a slightly smaller version of his back-ordered axe at our recent awards banquet while we waited for it to arrive, (shipping delays). But it finally came and it is with great pride we were able to attend the San Juan County Fire & Rescue - District 1 Valley meeting tonight to give it to him. We have one more to present and pictures will follow. Please join us in congratulating and thanking Walter for his faithful service to our community!
