From December 28, 2022 post.
What are holidays without music? Through the years music has remained an important part of Aztec community life. This accordion from the museum’s instrument collection belonged to musician Eddie Gedney. He began playing when he was 8 and acquired this accordion when he was 12. He brought it with him to Aztec in 1953. The accordion was made in Italy. It was delivered to him on October 12, 1952. Click on the link in comments for an interesting recent story on Italy’s accordion manufacturing world capital.
