Bloomfield Fire Update *8:15am*
Crews are still on scene of a large brush fire burning in the swamp area between Church Street and US550 in Bloomfield. Original post here: https://www.facebook.com/sjcfrnm/posts/1669009120146140
The fire is largely contained and crews will be conducting some firing operations to maintain that containment. No structures have been threatened or lost and there are no evacuations in place at this time. We don't have a size estimate but will update as crews can survey in the light.
We will be seeing smoke impacts west of Bloomfield, likely in the Farmington area as the winds pick up and carry that smoke to the west.
