We have gotten several calls from citizens that they are receiving phone calls from an individual claiming to be a sergeant with the SJCSO and they need to speak to them about a “legal matter.” The call is coming form 505-427-2071 and if you call back there is a message stating you have reached the SJCSO. Please be aware that THIS IS NOT OUR AGENCY!!
If you receive a call from one of our deputies they will identify themselves. If you doubt the identity of the deputy call dispatch to confirm (505)334-6622. Stay safe out there San Juan County!
