While the investigation is continuing, we’re no longer looking for a black van, and we are confident it didn’t play a role in this incident. Additionally, FPD has determined there is no danger to the public.
We’ll release additional information in the next few days.

REQUEST FOR PUBLIC'S ASSISTANCE:
Yesterday, a female reported that she had been kidnapped between 2:40 and 3 p.m. from the area of 20th Street and Hutton while walking to work. The suspect vehicle is a black van. Detectives and our real-time crime center are actively investigating the incident.
