About 1:30 Monday morning, crews were dispatched by San Juan County Communications Authority to a structure fire on Road 6878 and responded to reports of a house on fire and possibly people inside.
San Juan County Fire & Rescue - District 1 Valley and San Juan County Fire & Rescue - District 4 La Plata responded with some help from Farmington Fire Department to a storage building on fire, which had spread to the occupied structure. Both occupants made it out safely (With some help from San Juan County Sheriff's Office, NM ) and crews were able to knock the fire down quickly.
