As a part of our ongoing efforts to be ready in case of all hazards, it’s all about training!
Today we facilitated an exercise with people from numerous agencies, to practice an activation of the Emergency Operations Center.
In the event of a large scale disaster, the Emergency Operations Center would be activated to support emergency responders on scene. Today included public and private entities that would have to work together in the case of a real emergency.
This is the second in a three-part series of training that will culminate with a full-scale drill in October.
