HEADS UP
Tuesday night flash flooding on Road 4990 (Sullivan Road in Bloomfield) washed away portions of the road under the eastbound lane at Armenta Wash.
Turns out that an estimated 25 foot wall of water overwhelmed the culverts there.
For now, 4990 is down to one lane there and will be while crews rebuild the bank and make the road safe for two lanes of traffic. The sheer amount of material involved means it could take some time.
Thanks for your patience!
