Peter Pierotti accepts a proclamation recognizing the life, achievements, and legacy of his father Lou Pierotti from Los Alamos County Councilor David Reagor at last night’s council meeting. Last month, Los Alamos citizen and creator of the Pierotti’s Clowns baseball team, Lou Pierotti was posthumously inducted into the New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame as a person who lived in New Mexico, significantly impacted athletics in New Mexico for an extended period, and achieved national fame for the athletic accomplishments in his career.
