National Weather Service

A little birdie (ie the National Weather Service) has informed us that “a surge in monsoon moisture will increase the risk for flash flooding today and tomorrow, particularly near the Four Corners area.”  It’s POSSIBLE!  But we are the cops, not meteorologists, we just pass along the information…

If we happen to get hit hard, please drive carefully and be weather aware. Give yourself extra time to get to your destination if you must get out. Remember if you see water pooling in the roadway to turn around and don't drown!

We usually share road closures, but be sure to also follow our public safety partners to receive updates from their pages.  San Juan County Office of Emergency Management Fire & Rescue
