Join the Aztec Community as we celebrate this Holiday Season! Events are all geared for family entertainment and fun. We hope you join us for an inexpensive evening of Holiday Cheer with “An Aztec Christmas Sparkles Parade”!
Schedule of Events:
5:00 pm – Lineup for the Aztec Christmas Light Parade begins, lineup starts on S. Mesa Verde Ave., between Chaco St. and Chuska St. The Aztec Chamber of Commerce will be facilitating the parade lineup. There will be a parade float competition. Put on that creativity hat and come out to represent your organization, business, family or just for fun. Floats will be judged based on their originality and creativity, and their overall appearance. Winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd) will be posted on City Facebook and website. Parade entries are free; entry forms are available at the Aztec Visitor Center located at 110 N. Ash Ave. in Aztec.
6:00 pm – Aztec Christmas Sparkles Parade. Join the community of Aztec as we celebrate “An Aztec Christmas” with our annual Parade down Main Ave. Don’t miss Santa, the Fire Trucks and all the fantastic Float entries.
7:00ish pm Tree Lighting at Minium Park
