Our Reserve Deputies are selfless community members that volunteer their time to the safety and benefit of San Juan County citizens and the Sheriff’s Office. Reserves Deputies are utilized as back up to our Certified Deputies while on duty. They serve their community by providing valuable manpower on patrol, community events, large scale crime scenes, SWAT, and many other areas.
The last Reserve Academy was in 2018 and we are currently taking applications for the next academy that will begin in August.
