Being as it’s 420 day, and after the passing of the cannabis legislation, I’m sure some of you Smokers, Jokers, and Midnight Tokers will be celebrating in style. Please do your own research concerning the use, possession, and cultivation of ganja as it is your responsibility to know those laws.
PLEASE always remember that driving impaired is driving impaired. It doesn’t matter if you have consumed alcohol or some Pineapple Express, it is still illegal to drive a vehicle while under the influence of any substance. It is also still illegal to smoke a doobie in public.
Although the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office recognizes marijuana use is legal and is not promoting it's use, we do encourage you to stock up on Cheetos before consuming some Mary Jane.
