After Action Review

Review

An extremely important part of any incident is the After Action Review. It is a way for a group involved in any emergency response to be better prepared for the next incident. Things that went well, things that didn't go so well, and how we can improve are all vital conversations to have.

While we recognize that COVID is not 'gone' the biggest part of San Juan County's response has slowed considerably, and that's why we gathered numerous stakeholders to perform an After Action Review of the last two years.

One big takeaway is that our area enjoys is collaboration between so many community partners, all working for the good of the residents. We have recognized some of the community partners who have been integral over the last two years on this page in the last few weeks.

We cannot say 'thank you' enough to the people who have worked over the last two years in so many capacities to mitigate the impacts to our community from COVID.

There is still work to be done, and people who are still suffering in one way or another, but the response structures for any incident are stronger than ever.

Thanks to San Juan College for being our host, and thanks to so many community agencies that Facebook won't let us tag them all.
