Volunteering for the fire department doesn't just mean showing up when the call comes in. Most of a volunteer firefighter's time is spent in training for the event. Our volunteers get five hours of training for every one hour of call time. Being prepared when the call comes in is the top priority for our department and our volunteers. #VFD #VolunteerWeek #firedepartment
