After discussions with the Southwest Incident Management Team 1 about current fire conditions, containment and the existing evacuation zones, Rio Arriba Sheriff’s Department has made the following updates to the evacuation zones: Potrero Canyon remains in “Go” status. Valle de los Caballos, Canyon Plaza, Vallecitos and La Madera West-Ancones will change to “ready” status. Las Tablas, Petaca, La Madera East, Canyon, and Placitas and Highway 554 are removed from evacuation status.
